August 2013
This is one of the few outdoor pools in the country and its great to see it looking so well. The pool here was reopened in 2012 and is a small but well maintained facility.
The water is crystal clean and even heated, with the usual shallow and deep ends. There are individual changing cubicles along with toilets and showers. You will need to wear a swimming cap .
The pool this summer is open 2-8pm , 7 days a week. Adults cost 4.00 euro and children 3.00 euro. Season tickets are also available.
Alongside the pool is a good sized green area, tennis courts and a play area, so this is an ideal spot for a family visit
Directions
From Carrick on Shannon take the R280 to Drumshanbo. Just before you enter the town you will see the pool and the other facilities on your left. There is car parking on the road.
